Architecture of the non-Schengen wing at HEL
The architecture and ambience of the terminal with the loungers and wood and light and sawn off tree stumps is really beautiful. Does anyone have info on who the architects were and any articles about the space? Or even better, have any books been published?
I googled and found a lot of renderings but I’d love to see some actual professional photographs of the terminal instead.
Does it ever get crowded? It was very empty when my LHR-HEL arrived around 1330.
