It doesn't have to be LAX, but it's the one that works for my time constraints. Basically it's only a day long trip to Tokyo for a weekend, taking a Friday flight after work gets me 12 more hours (the alternative is JL SEA-NRT on Saturday). The extra 12 hours just gives me more time to hang with a friend, it's not crucial, but preferred if it's doable.
AS offers the LAX-HND, but doesn't have availability on SEA-LAX. AA will offer me a single award on AA metal for both, but it'll be a 40 minute connection.
I'm looking at economy, but will take business if it opened up.
