I blindly charged to my AMEX business platinum card airfare purchased directly from airlines assuming it accrued 5x Membership Reward points (as with the personal platinum card). Only upon reading this thread did I actually review the points accrued for purchases and find airfare directly purchased from airlines categorized as "other purchases" and not receiving bonus MR points.

No more airfare charged to my AMEX business platinum card going forward.
