So flew SEA-PHX on Friday, flight was advertised as 737-900 Winglets, so was surprised that when I boarded plane safety card displayed was 737 MAX. I must admit up to now I said I would not fly the MAX if at all possible, crew made no reference as to aircraft type. Was a very enjoyable flight, seats and legroom up front fantastic and aircraft definitely appeared quieter. Bathrooms a bit on the small side though.
Both of my recent flights were listed as 737 MAX 9 upon booking and up until a day prior to departure, then ended up operated by -900ER. AS seems to swap airframes so frequently that avoiding the MAX at this point (or trying specifically to fly it) seems futile.
