Was hoping to see an answer to my question because I think I got incorrect info from my WestJet person. Flying YVR to LGA via YYZ, looks like I land at a B gate and connect to an A gate in Terminal 3. I was told I would do the US preclearance in Vancouver and just go "gate to gate" in Toronto, I think that is wrong? On the Pearson map, it directs me through several security checkpoints and looks like I would have to completely leave security and re-enter as a new passenger. I'm wondering if they gave me enough time to connect, it's about 2 hours. Can anyone fill me in? I've never flown through Toronto! Thanks.
Follow the signs for USA transfers and you’ll need to go through a security check point and US preclearance. Not sure what kind of dingbat at Westjet came up with that nonsense idea of clearing in YVR.
