Can I request UA ORC on a *A partner ticketed itinerary?

was going to fly SFO-YVR-LHR on AC ticket and metal crediting to UA. Due to a delay in SFO-YVR, AC rebooked me in BA YVR-LHR.

can I get UA to credit the YVR-LHR segment as if I had flown AC, and do I contact AC or UA if so?
