What is your Priority Club status? Diamond

Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes, we wanted a night in an air conditioned room owing to the heatwave. Our house is like an oven. The hotel was 10 minutes drive from home.

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Booked a twin and that is what we got.

How are the rooms? Twin beds, two armchairs and a desk. Open wardrobe and delightful view overlooking a council estate. Bathroom amenities are large bottles branded Soak. No, me neither. These weren’t bolted to the wall.

How is the exec. lounge? NA

What was good and what was bad? The air con was amazing. Both my son and I slept like logs. It was pure bliss compared to the 27 degree thermometer reading at home. We received all three Diamond welcome benefits, which was nice. We were given a breakfast voucher, two drinks vouchers and the welcome points posted before we opened the door to our room.

There are individual domes in the garden, I imagine a relic from the pandemic. We sat in one as there was an outdoor bar and received table service for our drinks vouchers. Breakfast was pretty fine. I chose a plate of watermelon slices and passion fruit halves. My son had a full English and a mango smoothie.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return? We paid 26000 points but it was so worth it for the air con. I am going to book a few more nights if this warm weather persists.
