My understanding is that the $165 cost is per person. Will be there with 2 family members in September, travelling on paid QR J tickets, and we were thinking of just paying for lounge access. In looking around though, the Oryx airport hotel <$300 so we'll be booking that instead.

Correct that OneWorld emerald do not get access.
