Details of catering enhancements have now been released. To summarise:
- Hot towels return on long haul services in F, CW, WTP.
- Regional menu variations return (e.g Thali service in F on India services)
- Hot starters, soup and hot desserts return to F
- Club Kitchen phased improvements starting with longest services. Sandwiches, yoghurts, fruit, other chilled items now offered
- Hot bakery in WTP
- Longer flights will offer second hot meals in WT/WTP. Shorter flights will offer a 'hot refreshment' (I think it's that dodgy pizza wrap situation we used to have).
- 3 menu choices in WTP for the main service
- Menus return in WTP
- Various bar loading changes, galley planning improvements and wine cellar improvements apparently.
All to take effect from 01/08/22
Thanks for the update. I suppose for me I can understand why there's a need to keep CW one tray. However that does not excuse the poorer quality of food available. Is there not the scope to have the pre pandemic quality served on one tray. Or is that too simplistic a wish.
Also will there be ice cream in the CW Kitchen?
