If I book through AA’s site, I can get a room at the same hotel for the same time and get 14,000 base miles, but would pay $1,562.
Is this the regular rate on the bookaahotels site? Or the "pay for more miles" or "boosted" rate?
The reason for my question is that I've generally found the hotel prices (direct vs. through bookaahotels) to be very close. The main difference is that the boohaahotels seem to be generally non-refundable... unless you go to the higher categories, and then you do pay a premium.
