Lufthansa are terrible and threatened to arrest me
Hi, I am currently going through a similar experience with [MENTION=22344]Lufthansa[/MENTION]. But when we complained at JFK Airport Lufthansa baggage claim that they kept giving us the wrong phone number to talk to someone at Lufthansa Frankfurt and we would not leave until they gave us a correct one, the manager Philippe Maret threatened to have us arrested if we did not leave the office! This was done in front of my 2 sons and it has ruined a once in a lifetime trip to US that we have been planning for 2yrs as a family. It is now 9 days on and we are still waiting on a human to contact us. I will never travel with [MENTION=22344]Lufthansa[/MENTION] again and they should be ashamed and very concerned about managers like Philippe Maret at JFK, with his attitude something much worse could occur than lost bags. I’m defeated by their lack of compassion.

Hey everyone. I am reaching out on here in hopes that someone can give me a reliable phone number or email to this nightmare of an airline. We travel internationally with Lufthansa over the summer for a long vacation and came back august 2nd. Somehow august 2nd all the bags had arrived except my check in bag. We filed out the papers required in the airport & were promised our bags24 hours later. Well all bags arrived 24 hours later except mine.
We called again and they said we did not check in that bag even though we had the receipt. On top of the unprofessionalism and absolute disgust that the person spoke to me with, it has now been 2 almost 3 months WITH NO RESPONSE. I have the phone # to Lufthansa at Newark and they completely will not answer and as far as the costumer line I am getting no responses there too. I have emailed and called customer service no one has a single respond or useful thing to say. I am seriously considering get a lawyer for this as there was 5,000 with of valuable things in there.
