Why use the word Rapid when RT-PCR is not, and cannot be, a rapid test? So in the USA that may well be Abbot ID and in Europe the most common version is LAMP. If you are getting results back in under an hour, it's highly unlikely to be a PCR since the temperature separation alone takes more than an hour. If there was an equipment spec on the certificate then I could tell you more. And yes many countries have insisted on specific test methods, even though a properly conducted antigen test can be argued to as accurate, or even more accurate, on any variant from BA.2 onwards.
