When checking into United Club while awaiting for my departure flight from SEA to EWR, I was unexpectedly congratulated by the check-in staff, who presented me with a hand-written card of appreciation as well as a United mug as a present. When I boarded the connection flight in EWR to LHR, the purser (Carla) personally came over to remind me that I will be crossing the 1MM mark over the Atlantic Ocean; she ensured that I received the meal of my first choice, and reminded me that a glass of champagne is in order.

To be honest, I was very touched by the awesome gestures by UA members at SEA United Club and the purser of UA934. It is simple measures like this which makes me feel that my many years of loyalty to United is acknowledged, and I was very much touched! Well done, UA!
