SUBWAY METRO CLOSURES
From September 10 to late October 2022 DC metro stations will be closed south of DCA. They are creating a new metro station just south of the airport called Potomac Yards. The final major work will be done during this period. It’s will be an open air station with p,atforms on opposite sides of the track with a bridge connecting over the track
From September 10 to mid May 2023 the yellow line bridge between the pentagon and L’Enfant plaza will be closed for major bridge repair.
During closures there will be bus transportation replacing the closed metro routes
SILVER LINE TO DULLES
its now scheduled to be operational in late 2022
