I'm ideally looking for something that either has a free, fast & regular shuttle or access to a quick means of transport that doesn't cost the earth

so its not free, it is in fact the most expensive option but you are going for it?

The 423 service bus is 2 stops and around 1,65 each way.

The thistle would not be my choice if others on the bath road were around the same price.

the t5 hiexp is , for me, too far being the other side of colnbrook. The t5 hi is better.
