DEL 2nd November and 26th November return cancellations

Our CW reward flight has been cancelled to and from DELHI
OUTWARD BA257 2nd
RTn BA 142 26th

We have been rebooked for the Rtn leg on BA 256 which leaves 5 hrs after our original

No outward rebooking so far so I am assuming we need to hold out for a rerouting whilst on the return we will now need a bed for the night which I guess I should claim?

Advice needed please!
