In CE, not strict at all. When I flew in May and June (in CE) the flights were full out and return. We were told at the gate people would have to check large cabin bags and that crew would pick them if there weren't enough volunteers.

I noticed my fellow CE flyers totally ignored that, didn't check any cabin bags and most of them had 2 per person and their main cabin bag was on the large size. I saw one lady with a cabin bag, a tote and her handbag.

The thing that does annoy me though: twice I saw economy passengers who boarded early put their cabin bag over the CE seats and then quickly walk up the plane into economy. I can kind of understand why they'd do that, but don't they realise CE passengers need the space?

I was hesitant to write that though as if that becomes a new tip for economy passengers, we really are in cabin bag trouble 🤦🏽‍♂️
