Thanks it was more about an on the day cancellation which seems to be where it's getting hit. Am staying in Richmond so not far away Heathrow should I need to get to T5 earlier.
It seems reasonable enough to just plan that day on getting to T5 early enough to allow the possibility of getting on the earlier flight if there's a day-of cancellation. BA (really any airline) won't let you rebook for the possibility of a cancellation.
