We arrived early and the room was not yet ready, so they sat us at the bar restaurant for about 30 minutes. The check-in person repeatedly welcomed us back, which was odd since we had never stayed there. We got a room upgrade, breakfast and restaurant credit due to the good offices of Hao Tang.

Acqua di Parma toiletries, including a bath sized bar of soap rather than all soap being hand-sized. View of an inner courtyard which had trees with twinkling Christmas lights. The room was quiet.
Thanks for the report. We'll be in Milan for a couple of nights in November. Did you get a sense of how the Executive Suite at the FS is compared to the "specialty" suites at around the same price point? The Fresco and Cloister Suites seem kind of cool, but I can't tell if it's just a novelty offering.
