- Buy an H fare or higher and confirm/waitlist your upgrade with miles now.
- Buy a W fare or higher and confirm/waitlist your upgrade on 1/1/05 when you will have SWU's.
- Ask someone who has SWU's to confirm/waitlist your upgrade now, then switch to your own, or repay them with yours.
