I shouldn't even have to call. Had a swap from Jazz Q400s to Rough A320 on a J ticket, and of course it shoved me in Y for those segments. I can select other flight combinations with premium rouge, but not the flights it allocated me... so: phone. Maybe if their IT worked they wouldn't have 3 hour waits.
I see two big causes of hold times:
1. The system can't do everything it really needs to be able to.
2. People like me who have been flying AC for long are so accustomed to it being able to do NOTHING that I tend to call to sort things out that the system probably can do now. Though I'm trying to re-train myself to try the website first.
