You guys have no idea how much those two comments have done to make me look even more forward to this trip- I'm going to have a culinary great time!

One thing I also now know thanks to the BD posts is I should carry USD and exchange as I go- but someone said bring Benjis- were you being sarcastic or not? They're not even widely accepted here, but it would be nice to not have to worry about a lot of small bills. Also, where are you getting BD rate info? I can trust a site like Xe for "standard" currencies, but what about "https://bluedollar.net/"? Lastly, are the rates posted at the BD shops, or are they subject to "interpretation" by the vendor?
