Back to the topic of AC kits, I am annoyed that my luggage tags say they are from 2020, and that my card is expired. Makes us that were SE before the pandemic feel extra special and important when new status holders get kits, but we don't. Can't wait to try an LH lounge with the expired card.
If you earned SE in 2019, but not 2020 or 2021, then I don't think it's unreasonable (though I would try to get an updated card).
But even people who actually qualified for status in 2021 were not sent a kit this year unless they specifically requested one. I think that should have been the threshold. "Qualified for status (through any means) last year".
