Work from Hyatt is not a guarantee of good internet. I didn't have internet for my entire stay in Zihuanatejo on a "WfH" rate last summer.
Of course, Riviera Maya is far less secluded and therefore likely to have much faster internet. You can also pick up a local prepaid SIM card for emergencies.
