I'm so sorry, this sounds like an extremely traumatic experience, and I am sorry that others have been so cruel on this thread.
Hindsight is 20/20, and you made the best decisions you could at the time given the circumstances and the fact that no one is prepared to encounter a situation like this.
Agree that right now you should file a police report (look for the non-emergency number for the local police department to find out how best to do this). As to contacting a lawyer - it will get you places. You will be able to subpoena (if you get far enough in the judicial process) the information of the person who filmed you. Depending on the police department and how overwhelmed they are, they will be able to get this information as well. The only question in getting a lawyer is comparing the cost of retaining a lawyer vs the value to you of having the video dealt with. It's hard to assign monetary values to these things, but it will cost you, minimally, thousands of dollars once you retain a lawyer, and only you have the power to decide if that is worth it for you.
