Been tracking the above as am going to be taking it in 10 weeks. It's the 14.35 departure and am connecting to the 20.30 LAX flight at JFK.

It does appear that it's the most likely JFK rotation to be axed when there are issues. Does anyone know if this is in fact the case and if there is any other reason for it happening?

I have actually moved my EDI flight to the day before due to a cancellation so can travel earlier. Would I be within my rights to ask for an earlier JFK flight or is it a case of sitting tight and what will be will be.
