Hi all,
We are researching for a 3-5 day stay in Aosta Valley.
The plan is to sleep in the same accommodation during the visit.

We want to do some daily walking (easy and medium level)

Big condition: we don't drive, so must be a place with easy access to hiking trails or with bus connections.

We have been several times to Ortisei, at the Dolomites, which has good trails starting there and a good bus network to Val Gardena and other locations.

So, we are looking for something similar in Aosta.
Our best candidate is Cogne, according to Lonely Planet and other sources.
But we are unsure.

Travel will be during mid or late September.

Any comments and suggestions will be welcome.
