Sorry to hijack this slightly, what is worldtracer?

Our bags went missing between JTR-LHR-GLA on Wed 13th. We have a 10 digit missing baggage report. In the BA system is shows the status as "seaching for your bag", when you click on the baggage receipt number is says it was due to be flown to GLA on BA1498 on Sat 16th.

Is there another system i can use to try and track the bags?
