We have a multi city multi route itinerary coming up where we will intersect with my daughter and continue through YYZ EWR and then PIT and back.
DW has forbidden checked bags despite it being almost 3 weeks total and reading that carry-ons have been confiscated for want of a better term due to lack of space.
I reorganized the itineraries to a minimum of PE then with waitlists for upgrades or booked/approved J and made a point of confirmed J for the entire outbound thinking we could handle delayed luggage at home with little disruption.
I hoped this would help. We shall see. I've boarded PE late before only to find every bin full, even when the full size roller bags outnumber passengers.
