Last year, I had a different technical glitch (SQ award ticket flying UA metal) and almost missed my vacation because they had to escalate and chase down a back end SW support team at the airport. Don't want to repeat that again this year.
Isn’t there a way to delete your passport information. I would do that, try again if it comes up as Russian, deleted again and then just have it scanned at the airport
