Just completed a two-night stay here at the end of last week. I booked a few days in advance and rates were around $450 a night so a no-brainer to use 23K points per night especially when considering the 20% rebate.
I was going to spend extra points to book into a suite, but one never showed as available; then the day before arrival I saw I was upgraded to a Sanctuary Studio, the exact room I had in April when using a TSU but two floors up. A rollaway was promptly arranged for my son at no cost.
I love this hotel and my family agreed this is our favorite hotel we’ve stayed at so far this year. We hope to return in December.
Breakfast: A la carte on Friday and buffet (with a handful of a la carte options) on Saturday. All charges were removed. We found the food to be very good. The buffet includes made to order eggs and other items are made to order at the buffet (e.g. avocado toast, chilaquiles; see picture below for full list). Friday was calm but Saturday was very busy, I recommend making a reservation as there was a wait to be seated when we left.
Pool: We used both pools; Seabird is larger but they’re both very nice areas. Both pools were heated; it was pretty foggy for our whole stay and the water temp was at the bottom of my comfort range. The Mission Pacific pool had a DJ on Friday (not sure of the hours but he was there later in the day) and I think the Seabird pool is more family oriented. If anyone is interested I can post a picture of the menu from the Seabird pool; I thought it was relatively reasonably priced considering the location but didn’t try any of the food.
Room: Pictured below. Very comfortable and everything worked well. There is some street noise but it didn’t bother me.
In summary I love this hotel and will return ASAP.

A la carte breakfast: grain and veggie bowl (I forget exactly what it was called but I’ve had it both of my stays and it’s very good). The side of fruit was also very good.
