Just make sure the lounge is open. Under Marriott policy as stated in the FT Marriott forum, elites who get access to lounges at Sheraton are officially owed no compensation if the lounge is closed. At some other Marriott brands, elites who get access to lounges get free breakfast in the restaurant when the lounge is closed, but apparently not at Sheraton.
OT, but I think it's still the case that at some Bonvoy brands (this applied to at least USA Sheratons) you could pick breakfast every day in the restaurant as your welcome amenity (instead of a thousand points), whether or not there's an open lounge. Some Marriotts are allowed to give a thousand points per stay instead of breakfast in either the lounge or restaurant, with the guest having no choice about this.
