I booked SFO —> LIS on the AA website operated by Iberia. I called Iberia to select my seat since the website requiring me to pay for seat selection even though I’m oneworld emerald. Iberia said they are unable to allow give me a complimentary seat assignment and to call AA. I called AA and they told me they are unable to select seats and this is an ongoing issue with Iberia. I called Iberia back and they told me I will only be able to select seats at check-in. Has anyone run into this issue?
