At the risk of sounding as stupid as I feel, it sounds like most of you think charging up $1 million a year is "normal" on a personal (not a business) card. I'm having a hard time imagining what, on a personal card, you could charge? How much can you eat, drink, travel, buy? I know I'm naive (even at my advanced old age), but we charge, maybe, $50K a year across all our cards, and that is everything I can possibly charge, and when I call Amex or Chase or B of A for any question whatsoever I'm treated like their most important customer - minimal hold times, politeness, quick resolution of any issue.

To dump a customer who passes millions through their system, year in and year out, it had to have been "something" that triggered this closure.

But I really don't like that they don't tell you (the OP) what it was - how can you correct it if you don't know what you did wrong?
