Titanium has been consistent for me. I know exactly what to expect and what it'll be and it means: late checkout, breakfast, upgrades 1/3 to 1/2 of the time and the occasional front desk agent who wows me. Because I travel to so many secondary and tertiary locations, Marriott is important to me and Titanium is my number one status.
Globalist so far has been all over the map for me. I've had some stays where I said "this is why people praise this status" and others where I received less than I would have as Titanium.
For me, Marriott works better.
Part of this is the perception that some Globalists espouse where every Hyatt treats them like loyalty and upgrades them to the Presidential Suite. I don't know where these people are staying, but it's not where I'm going.
In reality, there are Globalist duds just as there are Ambassador/Titanium duds. The raised expectations of Globalist based on the stories of others, at least IME, makes the Globalist duds more annoying.
