Looks like the SQ flight uses gate B46 and the LH flights to BER use A gates in the teens, so seems like I’d take the tunnel from B19 over to the A gates.

I assume I have to clear passport control, where does that happen? What about security?

How fast do I need to run to make it? I’m sitting near the forward upstairs boarding door on the SQ A380 so hopefully I can be off quickly.
LH flight is a SQ codeshare, will I still deal with LH if I do misconnect and need to rebook? I assume I can do that in the LH lounge. I believe with a J ticket and an Amex Platinum I can use the Senator lounge?

Will LH rebook on a train? ExperFlyer does show LH codeshares from ZRB to QPP. There’s one that arrives into Berlin Hbf at almost exactly the same time as the later flight arrives at BER so that would actually get me to my hotel faster.

I suppose I should try my best to do carry-on?

Thanks for any color!
Eastbound flights are usually a bit early, so I wouldn't be too worried about your connection. You almost certainly won't need to run.

In the unlikely case that you misconnect, you will deal with LH for rebooking - you can do that in the LH Business lounge (no Senator lounge for you unless you are Star Alliance Gold - the Amex Platinum is immaterial for most airline lounges in Europe).

Regarding carry-on vs. checked luggage, these days carry-on seems to be the smartest option regardless of connecting time, but other than that I don't foresee a specific risk.

I leave the remaining points to FRA experts
