No need to get so testy. I was only pointing out how unlikely your hypothesis is re passport stamps being examined and questioned.
It's not a good idea to generalise based on your experience and people ahead of you might have any number of reasons that took time.
You might be an unlucky outlier, if so consider yourself fortunate that everything worked out, and move on.
