Not that long ago, but April 2018 on a United 787-8 with the 2-2-2 seating and I believe I was in 1A. Flew to KIX and the way back on the real Polaris in a 777-3 from NRT. I remember the service and crew were excellent on both flights. I never forget that the purser (who was fantastic) sounded just like James Earl Jones on the flight to KIX. I learned to know which side of the plane then sun would be on during the flight because with bright sun, the 78s do not keep you from getting baked (787-10 aside).
