When I called customer service, they said the flight is canceled but no way for them to send a confirmation.
I cannot find the flight in my profile as a past itinerary either. I am a United flyer and they always show all your canceled trips on your profile. Does Delta not show this?
I just want to make sure my refund is not in jeopardy. Thanks for your insight.
Known issue for years!! Delta refuse to fix this because they don't want people to have proof of cancellation. Incidentally, the cancellation "confirmation number" is just your ticket number. Delta is very very twisted about this. I use an automatic script I wrote to screen capture the final cancellation screens and file a copy in my cloud drive, which is 3rd party time-stamped as another prove. I have reported this to Delta at least a dozen times over the years and they refuse to fix this.
Delta manages to email me about EVERYTHING, yet they somehow can't figure out how to email a cancellation confirmation. It's intentional!
