Whilst this probably doesn't help, most airlines are fairly hopeless with dealing with lost/delayed/missing baggage queries. A significant reason is that whilst they are responsible for your baggage, 95% of the handling and actions that can directly influence you being reunited with your bags is done by airports and ground services companies. Whilst Qatar is great in the air, their ground services handling and service recovery is often poor, and baggage queries is no exception.

One you have a worldtracer reference then it's pretty much a case of keeping an eye on the worldtracer portal for updates, and whilst you can call Qatar they will be looking at exactly the same info as you can see. The one significant exception is if you can get hold of someone who cares at the baggage handling company where the bag is allegedly located. But with many airports being understaffed and there being a general level of chaos across the industry this is a suboptimal time to have baggage go walkabout.

A hindsight thing - but if you change your booked flight or interline your bags between carriers, a top tip is to ask the staff at the gate to check that your bags have been loaded. Preferably do this as soon as the gate opens so there is time to remediate.

Take a deep breath, and avoid calling or contacting Qatar in the short term as it probably won't improve your blood pressure.
