My first ever flight was in the summer of 1981 on a Wardair Canada 747 from MAN to YYZ aged 8. I remember going up and down the spiral stairs to the little lounge upstairs, which probably wasn’t allowed on our tickets, but the cabin crew happily let me and brought me drinks (OJ only back then) with a swizzle stick which I thought was the best thing ever! Followed by a BCal DC10, to the from LGW to the USA the following year, which I also loved, and became my fav aircraft - thought it looked amazing in that CS.

First BA was when I was working in Crawley, and flew on an ancient BA 737-200 from LGW to GLA. Not as eventful, but started a long relationship with BA, which I’m just about managing to continue today…. (Cancellations permitting!)
