Resurrecting an old thread with a question about Central Florida Hyatts. At the end of July, we have 5 nights to relax without kids and want to split it between two properties in Central Florida (trying to stay in this area but could, for the right property, expand to South FL). We want to sit by a pool with margaritas or whatever, eat well, and have a bar cocktail in the evening. Maybe walk to restaurants or shopping nearby. I am glob.

We enjoyed Coconut Point, Confidante, and Centric Key West last year. Would return to Coconut Point but kind of want to try something new and the food wasn’t great. Key West was great but is further than we want to drive. Confidante was also great but again further south than we really want to go.

From reading around, HR Grand Cypress seems a good option. Any advice re HR Sarasota, GH Tampa, HR Clearwater? Other options? We do not need a beach location per se. More interested in better dining options and “high end” feel. Maybe things to do nearby like shop/dine.
