My first overseas flight was my first flight, ever. It was 1970, I was 19, headed to London from Boston on TWA with my older sister who had a ripe old one more flight (domestic puddle jumper) under her belt. Back when Europe was "$5 a Day".

I recall sitting waiting for takeoff and I was literally shaking, I was so nervous, my knees were bobbing up and down. And then we were up...and I thought - "well this isn't so bad..."
