Sofitel Heathrow T5, unprompted drinks voucher as part of the room key wallet. My interpretation of its wording is it should be a drink for the member AND anyone sharing the same room. I haven’t stayed here since covid, but pre covid, they used to give physical welcome drink coupons, redeemable at the bar, 1 coupon per drink, often only 1 coupon per room. I used to ask (having seen the idea on FT) “which of my wife or I are not welcome, given you are choosing to only provide 1 welcome drink voucher?” I always got given 2 vouchers then. Hopefully that rubbish is gone.
