that’s consistent with my understanding of the rules and the stated policy of it not being a *G benefit. Star Alliance doesn’t have any arrival lounge benefits, all of them are deals with the lounge operator and individual airlines.

I didn’t jump in on your original ask as I didn’t have any recent data as last time I was through ZRH was over five year ago. Nice of the agent to bend the rules for you.
