Wheelchair at LHR and MEX: what to expect

Following surgery in the UK, I have had to reschedule my return to Mexico. I was able to rebook my return at no charge via the Goldmember‘s phone number. I asked for a wheelchair at both ends, not because I can’t really walk but because I will not be able to carry or lift my carry-on bag, I am traveling carry-on only in this instance. There is nothing on Manage My Booking to indicate that I have asked for a wheelchair. I am therefore a bit concerned, as I don’t want to turn up at check-in to find that there isn’t one, let alone when I arrive in MEX. Can anyone advise? Am I right in assuming that whoever takes to charge of the wheelchair, assuming at check-in, will also lift my carry-on off my lap at screening and onto the rack when I arrive at my seat? I will be traveling in J. Thanks,
