Problem with that is I have a tour scheduled on the 17th. That was the whole point of the trip to Svalbard. Honestly, I just want a way to get my money back for the hotel (it's something like US$900) and flights to Svalbard. I'll eat the cost of the tour, spend 2 days in Oslo, and then head to somewhere else in Europe. Seems like that's not going to be possible though. Not sure what to do as I don't want to be stranded in Svalbard.

I think SAS will refund me (or at least let me reschedule this next summer) so it's just the stupid hotel. Booked through booking.com. Contacting the hotel directly was not the least bit helpful.
