Very confused and frustrated with UA's website ref refundable fares ex LHR.
Booking LHR-BOS on the UK website, filtering by fully refundable, returns the following fare basis as the lowest price option:
City pair Fare class Fare basis code
LON-BOS K KKFFDXU5/DXT1
BOS-LON K KKFFDXU5/DXT1
Reading the pages and pages of fare rules seems to indicate they are refundable. So far, so good.
However, on the payment page it says the following:
Terms and conditions
Purchase of this ticket means you understand and agree to all fare rules associated with this nonrefundable ticket, United’s dangerous goods policy, and the terms and conditions in United's Contract of Carriage, and the collection, processing and transfer of your information to the United States for handling in accordance with our privacy policy.

So what gives? This is a straight LHR-BOS-LHR non-stop booking which appears to be fully refundable at the start and then they hide away that it is non-refundable right before you pay.
Worried if I book I am not going to be able to refund it as I effectively agree to the terms and conditions displayed on the payment page ...
