Set an alert on Google Flights, if the lower fare comes back, don't wait or get involved with Chase (their phone agents are not travel agents, but generally inexperienced offshore or onshore call center people), call United immediately and get someone to take over the ticket and re-issue. If the first UA agent refuses (not all will know how to do it, or be willing to do it), get a supervisor or just hang up and call back.
