Im so glad I stumbled upon this thread it has a wealth of information on hotels and which ones to stay at.

Planning our first trip to Vietnam in June 2023 and will be definitely booking Capella!

I was planning to just fly down to Da nang from Hanoi and stay at the Four Seasons. I like the area cause there's a lot to see around that area. However, I am torn to do Amanoi. I do have 2 kids in toe, so am not sure what else is there to see in the Aman area.

We only have 8 nights total, this trip is a mini RTW trip and we heading to S. Africa after Vietnam. I'd appreciate any input in the Da nang or Nha Trang area or somewhere else.
